And when shit hits the fan. Don’t get caught slipping with halfway crooks ….

You either reach for you piece, or make a run for the exit ….

It’s fight or flight in those moments. And there’s no shame in running. Only a small man lets his bravado fool him. Fool him into standing tall when his hearts not in it.

That in between stuff gets one killed. I’ve seen it many times.

I’ve met many men. And many talk when the seas are calm. But it doesn’t take much to rattle a person. To see the coward come running out. And scared person can’t be trusted …

And believe me. You ain’t a G until someone tries to take yah life away. And it’s a surreal feeling. The feeling of being hunted. There’s apart of you that can sense it in the air. But your arrogance fools into thinking there’s nothing there.

And when the men start running and the bullets start flying. There is no time to think. The people that stand around, are the ones on the ground, … bleeding.

So don’t get caught with halfway crooks …..

That surreal feeling of death knocking on your door. And you feel that sudden pang in your chest. And your ego slips away. It’s the closest thing to a spiritual experience. Most live there life in auto-pilot. Taking for granted the air they breathe.

So you see … Its death that keep one humble in life. Understanding that all this is temporary and can be quickly and easily taken away.

So stay sharp and stay humble.
