And they say we all just chasing a high. Dope fiends with disrupted dopamine circuits.

Going around in circles, chasing the next high, chasing the next thrill, chasing something real….

Something REALER than the 9–5, REALER than the GUCCI hand bag.

And the RICH banker, passing by, rock’n the three piece suit, might look down on a lonely dope fiend, sitting on the corner, chasing the high.

But who knows, on any given day, that dope friend, could be happier than the banker, not forced to wear the suit, not forced to wear the mask, not forced to water himself down in order to be employable.

The banker, never having enough, always in a hurry, always trying to impress, what a life the dope friend thinks.

Good or bad, I never look down on a dope fiend.

We are more so the same, avoiding the pain, chasing the high.

Looking to feel warm and not necessarily escape, something deeper, a different state of thinking.

They say your company, says something about you, but what about the drug you do, what do they say…

Screaming in your ear when you wake and nagging in the back when you sleep.

So never Look Down on the Dope Fiend. We all much the same. Looking for something honest in a capitalistic world
