— A Spiritual Death —

And a life of crime is all I know ….

And it’s been a long time. I often forget about the young innocent kid that once stepped into the dark.

I’ve always been on the other side. Ever since I knew. I’ve never been able to listen blindly and colour within the lines. Some say there is apart of me that can’t be tamed. That can’t be civilized.

And society might paint me as a bad person. And thats fine-by me. Most people look at things fairly square. Everything is black and white. Good guys and bad guys.

But some us know. Know that the lines are blurred. And the people that pretend to be, are just mere cowards. They’re just people doing their job. And push come shove would throw you under bus. So morality knows no boundary.

The coward always obeys the law and bows down to the invisible eye. And thats what the world does. It makes cowards out of us. It looks for the obvious division.

And this life will come and pass like a dream. And when you’re on your back, breathing your few last breaths, staring up at the sky. You want to know, that you came into this game and left the person that you intended to be.

And thats what matters most of all.

And thats why people loved him. He had character beyond measure. Cut from a cloth long forgotten. The cloth of hard knocks. And they don’t make men like that anymore. And it’s too bad ….

I enjoy writing even though I’m a neophyte. When it comes to career development I rather take the road less travelled. I enjoy unconventional thinking.
